Waipara Hills has scored three major wins at one of Canterbury's most prestigious wine competitions.

The 2011 Waipara Hills Waipara Valley Riesling was named as Canape Class winner at the inagural Canterbury Wine Awards.

Furthering this sucess the 2011 Waipara Hills Equinox Waipara Valley Pinot Noir was named the Lamb Class winner, while the Waipara Hills Equinox Late Harvest Riesling was named the Dessert Class Winner.

The presentation of the awards and overall winner will be announced at the David Jackson Dinner in Christchurch on May 24th 2012.

Waipara Hills is excited to be exhibiting at the Food Show Wellington, 11-13th May, and will also be the wine sponsor for The Food Show Masterclass Series.

The Food Show is New Zealand's largest culinary event, held annually in Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington. It gives Kiwis the opportunity to sample the latest products from hundreds of exhibitors, gather ideas for home entertaining and learn from local and international food experts

They may be rivals on the ground and in the air, but when it comes to knowing good wine it seems some of the world's best airlines are in agreement on which wine to serve their passengers.

A number of The Mud House Group's internationally honoured vintages have been selected for in-flight dining on several prestigious airlines for Asia Pacific routes and as far afield as Denmark, Norway and Sweeden.
