This wine shows great regional and varietal typicity. The robust aromas of passionfruit and gooseberry meet with underlying lemon and lime flavours on the palate. This wine offers a full expression of fruit and balanced acidity.

Tasting Note

Colour: Pale straw yellow.

Nose: Classic passionfruit and gooseberry abound, with a slight hint of cut grass.

Palate: An rich wine, with underlying lemon and lime meeting powerful passionfruit and gooseberry flavours.

Serve: Lightly chilled, or if you prefer at room temperature.

Food Match: Seared scallops with a pineapple lime salsa.

Viticulture: The fruit for this wine was sourced from several of our contract grower's vineyards including Paynter and Stonegate vineyards.

Vintage: A cold start to the season resulted in lower than average crops and slow maturity. However the heat of the summer days arrived, allowing flavours to accumulate whilst the cool evenings maintained fresh acidity and ideal flavours. Perfect conditions for harvesting.

Maturation: 100% of this wine was fermented in stainless steel. Drink this wine early, and enjoy the reward of experiencing this wine just as the winemaker intended.
