Waipara Hills Waipara Chardonnay 2010
Sourced from our Home Block in the Waipara Valley this is a fruit dominant Chardonnay with subtle use of oak providing structure and complexity. Lifted pineapple and crisp apple aromas are balanced with soft, velvety fruit and cream flavours with a hint of spice on the finish.

A cooler summer delayed the start of the harvest, but a stable, warm Autumn delivered perfect fruit.

100% Chardonnay
MATURATION
Fermented in a combination of tanks and oak barrels. 7% was matured for 6 months in a mixture of new one, two and three year old barrels.
